ARTBOX Albuquerque

Artbox Albuquerque is an ongoing series of collaborative, interactive art installations featuring the work of Albuquerque based artists and community members. Founded in 2019 by local artists Lauren Coons and Leilani Ringkvist, Artbox Abq aims to create conversations about relevant topics in Albuquerque while fostering a community of creativity by showcasing a diverse collection of works in public spaces.

Artbox’s first exhibition, “Spacious Skies” is on display in the front door studio at Maple Street Dance Space! This exhibition features 8 works by 8 different artists in several different mediums including paint, photography, and woodworking. Each of these unique pieces is a response to the theme of skies and flight.

For more information or to find out how you can be a part of Artbox Albuquerque, find us on Facebook at facebook.com/artboxabq, on Instagram @artboxabq, or email us at artboxabq@gmail.com.
