Afro-Cuban Folkloric Teachers, Pilar & Frank Leto, winners of the prestigious Bravo Award, along with the NHCC, present, this year’s 14th Annual CARNAVAL performance & celebration!

Carnaval is a dazzling spectacle of vibrant dance, engaging music, and beautiful costumes, featuring the band PANdemonium and the Odara Dance Ensemble and showcasing the Carnaval celebrations of Cuba, Trinidad, Brazil and New Orleans.

It is the festive season occurring before Lent in many countries, including Latin American and Caribbean nations as well as parts of the United States, it is one of the world’s most widespread celebrations and one of its biggest parties.  SO, this THIS celebratory performance will include an open dance floor in front of the stage, prize giveaways, and will feature our King and Queen. Celebration CDs will also be on sale in the lobby, so you can take some of the fun home with you!

Celebrate LIFE with dance and music, and your teachers and friends from our incredible dance and music community! You can also make it an extra special evening and enjoy a meal at the Center's restaurant La Fonda before the Carnaval show!
